Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook continental cuisine (Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.) as per standard recipes
- Manage a designated kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs and junior staff
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared and served on time during service
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI)
- Monitor stock levels, control wastage, and place orders when required
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and costing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen section
- Coordinate with other kitchen departments for smooth service
