Job Description – Customer Care Executive (Transport

Industry)Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Executive in the Transport Industry. The role involves handling customer queries, managing bookings, providing updates on shipments, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the operations team.

Key Responsibilities·       Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner.

·       Coordinate with the operations and logistics team to provide accurate updates on vehicle and shipment status.

·       Maintain records of customer interactions, feedback, and complaints for service improvement.

·       Assist customers with booking transport services, quotations, and documentation requirements.

·       Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate unresolved concerns to the concerned department.

·       Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and professional service.

·       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on customer queries and resolutions.

·       Follow company policies and maintain compliance with transport regulations and procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Customer-oriented approach with problem-solving ability.

·       Knowledge of transport/logistics operations will be an added advantage.

·       Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email drafting).

·       Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduate in any stream (Commerce/Business preferred).

• Prior experience in customer service or transport/logistics industry will be an added advantage.
