Desktop Support Engineer

1. Hardware and Software Support:

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues on desktops, laptops, and MacBooks.

 o Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance of operating systems and applications.

2. Network and Connectivity:

o Manage and troubleshoot Access Points and Switches.

 o Ensure optimal network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

3. Audio-Video Conferencing Support:

o Set up and maintain audio-video conferencing systems.

o Provide real-time support during meetings to address technical challenges.

4. Maintenance and Monitoring:

o Conduct regular checks on IT equipment to ensure smooth operation.

o Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.

5. User Support and Training:

o Assist end-users with technical queries and provide training when necessary.

o Document common issues and solutions for future reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and other operating systems.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, network devices, and software applications.

 • Familiarity with network configurations and device management (Access Points, Switches).

• Experience with audio-video conferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
