Job Description

HR Recruiters manage the end-to-end hiring process, from identifying staffing needs with managers to onboarding new hires. Key responsibilities include sourcing candidates via platforms like LinkedIn, screening resumes, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS). They ensure a positive candidate experience and adherence to compliance. 

Core Responsibilities of an HR Recruiter:

  • Job Analysis & Posting: Collaborating with hiring managers to define requirements, and creating/posting job descriptions on job boards, social media, and company career sites.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Proactively searching for talent using LinkedIn, professional networks, and employee referrals, then reviewing applications and resumes to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Interviewing & Assessment: Conducting initial phone or video interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordination & Logistics: Scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing the interview process flow.
  • Offer Negotiation & Closing: Extending job offers, negotiating compensation, benefits, and managing the offer acceptance process.
  • Applicant Tracking (ATS): Using applicant tracking systems to manage candidate data, track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire), and maintain records.
  • Onboarding Support: Assisting with the initial onboarding process, including background checks and reference verifications.
  • Employer Branding: Promoting the company as a great place to work by attending job fairs and hosting recruiting events.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all hiring practices adhere to labor laws and regulations. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or in a similar role.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Networking: Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates
