Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our fine dining kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in traditional and modern Indian cuisine, with the ability to present dishes with refined techniques and elegant plating suited for a premium dining experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality Indian dishes in line with fine dining standards
  • Design and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and modern culinary trends
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes
  • Supervise kitchen staff and maintain smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per regulations
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize wastage
  • Train junior chefs and kitchen staff in advanced cooking techniques
  • Collaborate with management for special events, tasting menus, and guest experiences


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a fine dining or premium restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of regional Indian cuisines (North Indian, South Indian, Coastal, etc.)
  • Expertise in tandoor, curry preparation, and modern plating techniques
  • Ability to innovate while respecting authentic flavors
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI compliance preferred)
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is a plus


Experience

  • Minimum 5–10 years of culinary experience
  • At least 2–3 years in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
