Interior Designer

Job Description: We are a small interior designing firm looking for a practical and creative Interior Designer who can handle residential/commercial interior projects from concept to execution. Formal bachelor’s degree is not mandatory — hands-on experience and relevant certification/diploma are what matter.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create interior design concepts as per client requirements and budget
• Prepare basic layouts, working drawings, and design details
• Coordinate with site supervisor, vendors, and contractors
• Assist in material selection (laminates, finishes, lighting, fittings, etc.)
• Visit sites to ensure design execution as planned
• Handle minor design changes during execution
• Support client discussions and design presentations
• Maintain basic project documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certification in Interior Designing (mandatory)
• Practical experience in residential or commercial interiors
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp / 3D software preferred
• Understanding of materials, finishes, and site execution
• Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Candidate:

• Someone who can balance design + site coordination
• Comfortable working in a small team and handling multiple tasks
• Willing to travel to project sites when required

Qualification:

• Diploma / Certification in Interior Designing
• Bachelor’s degree not required
