Purchase Cum MIS Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:
• Source and procure engineering materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Request quotations, analyze bids, and negotiate contracts to obtain best terms and pricing.
• Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site/project teams for replenishment needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites while optimizing cost and logistics.
• Vendor Development & Evaluation:
• Identify new vendors and evaluate based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
• Maintain an updated database of suppliers and product specifications.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records in ERP or manual systems.
• Ensure all purchases comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• MIS Reporting:
• Prepare and update project-wise procurement and daily project execution progress MIS including daily execution status, hurdles, Execution Vs billing analysis, material status, cost tracking, and delivery schedules.
• Report regularly to management with insights on purchase trends, supplier performance, and project-wise purchase health.
• Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in MIS submissions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineering, project management, and accounts teams for seamless procurement.
• Resolve issues related to invoices, deliveries, or product discrepancies.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting MIS reports
• Knowledge of construction materials and engineering goods
• Familiarity with software/ERP systems (e.g., Advance excel, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
