QA / QC Manager

Job Duties

•  Oversee Inspection & Testing of raw materials, in-process parts, and final valve products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Review, evaluate, and approve all inspection reports for raw materials, in-process components, and final products
• Develop and prepare test procedures for various products and processes.
• Provide guidance to new team members, ensuring they understand processes and quality standards.
• Manage the process for non-conforming products, ensuring they are properly segregated, documented, and addressed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality or performance.
• Resolve third-party inspection issues, ensuring smooth processes during external assessments.
• Represent the company during third-party audits and quality assessments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

 Job / Knowledge Requirements

·      Diploma/Graduate Engineer (Instrumentation or Mechanical).

·      Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Control

·      Understanding valve manufacturing processes: casting, forging, machining, assembly, testing

·      Knowledge of all instruments like Bore Gauge, Thread gauges Ring/Plug (Metric, BSP, NPT, UNC, UNF) 

·      Knowledge of tolerances and surface finish values

·      Knows all requirements of ISO9001:2015

·      Knowledge of material specifications (steel grades, alloys) and heat-treatment effects.

Skill Requirements

   Detail oriented

Excellent in reading, and interpreting the engineering drawings

Clear and effective Verbal & Written communication in English & Hindi
