Job Description: Hospitality/Kitchen Equipment Sales Manager

​Position Summary

​The Hospitality/Kitchen Equipment Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the commercial hospitality and foodservice sector. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with key clients (hotels, restaurants, catering companies, institutional kitchens, and consultants), and providing expert consultation on high-quality, efficient kitchen and catering equipment solutions.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Sales and Business Development

​Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets.

​Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality and foodservice industries (e.g., new hotel builds, restaurant chains, kitchen renovations).

​Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales and providing regular reporting to senior management.

​Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific operational and budgetary needs of the client.

​Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients and procurement teams to ensure profitable deals.

​2. Client and Account Management

​Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including Owners, General Managers, Executive Chefs, F&B Directors, and Purchasing Agents.

​Act as a trusted advisor, consulting with clients to understand their operational needs and recommending the most suitable equipment (e.g., combi-ovens, ventilation systems, refrigeration, fabrication).

​Collaborate with kitchen consultants, architects, and designers on project specifications and tender submissions.

​Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide effective post-sales support in coordination with the operations/service team.

​3. Product and Market Expertise

​Maintain an in-depth, expert-level knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.

​Stay current with commercial kitchen equipment technology, industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory standards (e.g., energy efficiency, food safety/HACCP compliance).

​Provide actionable market feedback to the product and marketing teams to help guide future product development and marketing strategies.

​4. Administrative and Team Collaboration

​Utilize CRM software diligently to track all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status.

​Prepare and submit accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contract documentation in a timely manner.

​Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Service) to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience, from order processing to installation and service.

​Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

​Required Qualifications & Skills

​Education: Bachelor’s / Master degree in Business Administration, Sales, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

​Experience:

​Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, foodservice, or B2B sales to the hospitality and non hospitality sector sector.

​Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

​Technical Knowledge:

​Strong familiarity with a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment (hot-side, cold-side, ventilation, and stainless steel fabrication).

​Understanding of commercial kitchen design principles and workflow.

​Soft Skills:

​Exceptional negotiation and persuasive communication skills (written and verbal).

​Excellent relationship-building and client-management abilities.

​Results-driven, highly organized, and strong time management skills.

​Ability to work independently and manage a large territory/client base.
