Job Title: Sales Engineer (SKF Industrial Specialist)

Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai


Company: Rajnikant & Co. (Leading Authorized SKF Distributor)


Experience: 3–6 Years in Mechanical Power Transmission Sales


Role Overview: As an SKF Industrial Specialist, you will be the face of Rajnikant & Co.’s core business. Your primary mission is to drive the sales and technical adoption of SKF Bearings and Rotating Equipment Solutions. While SKF is your primary focus (90%), you will also provide integrated power transmission and air solutions using our partner brands: Renold, JK Fenner, and CompAir.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • SKF Account Management: Act as the primary technical consultant for SKF products, focusing on bearing life cycle management, lubrication, and maintenance tools.
  • Value-Added Selling: Identify opportunities to convert customers from generic brands to SKF by demonstrating long-term cost savings (TCO) and reliability.
  • Technical Site Audits: Conduct on-site inspections of rotating machinery to recommend specific SKF bearing designations, housings, and sealing solutions.
  • Multi-Brand Integration: Cross-sell JK Fenner belts, Renold chains, and CompAir systems to provide a "Total Shaft Solution" to the client.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain deep relationships with Maintenance and Reliability Engineers in the TTC, Taloja, and Patalganga industrial belts.
  • Reporting: Manage the sales funnel from lead generation to payment collection, ensuring high accuracy in technical specifications.
  • Technical & Professional RequirementsEducation: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • SKF Expertise: Prior experience selling SKF products or working with an authorized SKF dealer is highly preferred.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of radial/thrust bearings, lubrication chemistry, and power transmission mechanics.
  • Sales DNA: A hunter mindset with the ability to navigate complex industrial procurement processes.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical "Bearing Failure Analysis" to plant teams in English, Hindi, or Marathi.
