Role Overview


The Sales Head is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building a high-performance sales organization. This position provides strategic direction, operational excellence, and leadership across all sales functions. The ideal candidate is an MBA-qualified professional with exceptional managerial capability, outstanding communication skills, and a proven track record in delivering sustained business growth.



Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

  • Formulate and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational vision and growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue channels.
  • Establish measurable targets and performance benchmarks across all sales operations.
  • Provide strategic insights based on market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer trends.



Sales Management & Execution


  • Lead and oversee all sales activities, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Design efficient sales processes, pipeline management systems, and performance frameworks.
  • Monitor forecasting accuracy, conversion rates, and sales productivity metrics.
  • Drive large-scale deal closures and strategic client acquisitions.



Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Implement structured training, performance evaluation, and leadership development programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop future leaders within the sales organization.



Client & Relationship Management

  • Strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business engagement.
  • Represent the organization in major negotiations and strategic discussions.



Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure unified business execution.
  • Align sales strategies with product positioning, pricing frameworks, and brand direction.
  • Provide feedback from the market to support innovation and service improvement.



Operational Excellence

  • Manage sales budgets, resource planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making and technology-enabled sales systems.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards, governance frameworks, and company policies.



Required Qualifications

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in senior sales leadership roles.
  • Strong managerial, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication ability.
  • Demonstrated expertise in team leadership and revenue generation.
