Job Description

A Sales and Marketing Executive in the steel and energy industry is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and promote the company's products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research, identify potential customers, and penetrate new markets within the steel and energy sectors.

Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Manage Sales Pipeline and Forecast Sales: Track sales activity, manage the sales pipeline, and forecast future sales performance to support business planning.

Promote Products and Services: Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's products and services to target customers.

Gather Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product development, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Analyze Sales Data and Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.

Represent the Company at Events: Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Prepare Marketing Materials: Develop and create marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and online content, to support sales efforts.

Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, and comply with relevant industry regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Business administration, or a related field .

Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the steel or energy industry .

Strong understanding of the steel and energy markets, including key trends and competitive landscape .

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills .

Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships .

Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools .

Ability to work independently and as part of a team .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .

Willingness to travel as needed .
