Role Overview

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Tax & Compliance team. This is a hands-on role where youll work closely with team members and leadership to execute and manage key assignments in taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance. You will also help guide junior staff and ensure timely and accurate delivery of client work.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Execution & Team Collaboration

• Actively work on client deliverables including tax returns, GST filings, and audits.
• Guide and review the work of junior team members.
• Conduct weekly/monthly internal audit and report to Management
• Ensure tasks are completed on time with accuracy and professional standards.

Taxation & Audit Compliance

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns and GST Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Assist in statutory and tax audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Support in GST audits, reconciliations, and preparation of annual returns.
• Perform Internal Audit Periodically and report to CA and Management.

Client Representation & Coordination

• Draft replies to notices under Income Tax and GST Acts.
• Support in handling departmental assessments, queries, and hearings.

Regulatory & Advisory Support

• Assist in legal and tax compliance under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST laws.
• Contribute to advisory assignments in corporate law, direct/indirect tax, and strategic planning.

Compliance Monitoring & Internal Coordination

• Track and ensure timely statutory compliance for assigned clients.
• Collaborate with HR/admin for internal operations and process enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Semi-qualified CA (Completed Articleship with a recognized CA firm).
• Having successfully completed the articleship in taxation, audit, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and basic corporate law.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and tax/GST portals.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and lead junior team members.
