Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Maintain the General Ledger and take full ownership of the Balance Sheet, ensuring all reconciliations are accurate and timely.
- Taxation & Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS, and income tax computations. Stay updated on the latest legislative changes to ensure 100% compliance.
- Monthly Auditing: Coordinate and lead internal "mini-audits" every month to ensure documentation is airtight before year-end external audits.
- Cost Management: Perform month-to-month costing analysis to identify variances, manage inventory valuation, and provide insights into product/service profitability.
- Month-End Closure: Manage the full month-end closing process, including accruals, prepayments, and the generation of P&L statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current accounting workflows and implement automated or more efficient solutions.
