Senior Accountant

Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with strong hands-on exposure to end-to-end accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finalization of accounts. This role requires accuracy, organizational skills, and working knowledge of taxation and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounting activities including day-to-day bookkeeping
• Maintain books of accounts using Tally ERP
• Record and manage sales and purchase transactions
• Prepare, verify, and file GST returns, ensuring accurate GST entries
• Manage TDS entries and ensure timely TDS return filings
• Assist in Income Tax return filings
• Support in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Proven experience in handling complete accounting functions
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in statutory compliance and account finalization
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Organized and process-driven approach
