Senior Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Tester to ensure quality delivery of Collections domain applications and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Collections systems, expertise in test automation, and excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for Collections systems (FICO, Finacle, etc.)

- Perform SIT/UAT cycles, regression testing, and defect management

- Implement automation frameworks (Katalon, Selenium) for in-sprint and regression testing

- Prepare detailed test plans, test case documents, and defect logs

- Manage test cycles, user stories, and defect tracking in JIRA

- Collaborate with IT and vendor teams for requirement understanding and issue resolution

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Collections processes and system integrations

- Manual and automated testing experience (Katalon, Selenium, Postman)

- JIRA proficiency (workflow management, dashboard creation, reporting)

- Documentation and reporting skills

- Technical skills: JSON frameworks, API testing, SQL queries

- Detail-oriented and proactive communication skills

Qualifications:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- 3+ years of testing experience in Banking Collections domain

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with automation frameworks beyond Katalon (e.g., Cypress)

- Knowledge of RBI compliance requirements related to Collections

- Familiarity with Collection systems
