Job description:

Stores In Charge

1. Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

2. Monitor and update the inventory file of child components in Excel for real-time reporting and transparency.

3. Provide accurate stock statements to statutory auditors as and when required.

4. Documentation & System Management

5. Check item code creation for consistency and system accuracy.

6. Verify and approve daily challans, cross-checking quantities and material details.

7. Ensure all challans are filed systematically for audit and traceability.

8. Ensure all storage locations are clearly marked and identified in Excel and ERP, enabling quick material retrieval.

9. Material Handling & Storage Management

10. Ensure proper tagging and traceability of all materials, segregate and label unidentified items as "Awaiting Inspection" with full details, and regularly verify tags to maintain compliance and prevent misplacement

11. Provide Minimum stock information to the planning and purchase department.

12. Housekeeping, Safety & Compliance.

13. Inventory Reconciliation & Problem Resolution.

14.. Team Leadership & Task Allocation.

. Job / Knowledge Requirements :

• Graduate – BMS/BCOM/ BE Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience in Stores department.
