Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and sales-driven Store Manager to oversee daily boutique operations, manage the team, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer experience. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and a hands-on approach to managing both people and store operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Performance

• Plan and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly targets
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team
• Track conversion rate (footfall vs purchase)
• Monitor Average Bill Value (ABV) and Units Per Bill (UPB)
• Encourage upselling and cross-selling
• Track best-selling and slow-moving products
• Maintain sales reports and performance updates

Team Management

• Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team
• Assign daily duties and responsibilities
• Maintain staff schedule and weekly rotation
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and late arrivals
• Conduct basic staff training for sales, styling, and customer service
• Maintain a professional work environment and control gossip or unprofessional behaviour
• Resolve staff conflicts and workplace issues
• Conduct daily team briefings and performance check-ins

Customer Experience

• Ensure every customer receives personalized service and styling assistance
• Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Build strong client relationships and repeat customers

Content & Brand Support

• Assist in creating basic store content (photos/videos of products or styling) when required
• Be comfortable on camera and represent the brand confidently
• Follow content guidance provided by the brand team

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate inventory tracking
• Conduct daily stock checks
• Ensure correct tagging and barcode labeling
• Monitor stock movement and replenishment
• Report slow-moving stock
• Manage damage control and defective pieces
• Ensure stock is properly displayed and organized

Trial Room Management

• Monitor items entering and exiting trial rooms
• Ensure garments are handled carefully
• Prevent product damage or misplacement
• Maintain trial room cleanliness and order

Billing & Cash Handling

• Supervise billing operations
• Perform daily cash verification
• Ensure proper handling of cash, UPI, and card payments
• Report any discrepancies immediately

Store Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store functioning
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual display, and organization
• Ensure staff follow store policies and discipline

Opening & Closing Responsibilities

• Follow store opening and closing checklist
• Ensure store readiness before opening
• Verify cash and billing records at closing
• Secure the store after closing

Reporting

• Maintain daily reports for:
• 
  
• Sales performance
• Footfall tracking
• Conversion rate
• Average bill value
• Stock updates
• Share regular reports with management

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in fashion retail or boutique management preferred
• Strong sales, leadership, and communication skills
• Basic understanding of fashion styling
• Comfortable with basic content creation
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
