Supervisor/Incharge

Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Supervisor – Metal Manufacturing to oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal manufacturing processes and strong team-handling capabilities, with a focus on productivity, quality, and safety.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations

• Supervise daily shop-floor operations related to metal fabrication/manufacturing
• Ensure production targets are met as per planning and schedules
• Monitor machine utilization, manpower allocation, and workflow efficiency

Quality Control

• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and corrective actions
• Reduce rework and rejection through process control

Manpower Management

• Lead and manage technicians, operators, and helpers
• Assign duties, monitor attendance, and maintain discipline on the shop floor
• Train new workers on SOPs, safety, and machine handling

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety norms and PPE usage
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and company safety standards
• Report and investigate near-miss incidents and accidents

Maintenance & Coordination

• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Minimize downtime and ensure smooth machine operations
• Maintain daily production reports, shift logs, and documentation
• Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of metal manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, welding, machining, fabrication, etc.)
• Ability to read drawings and production plans
• Leadership and team-handling skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production reporting)
