Job Title: Territory Sales Manager – DiagnosticsDepartment: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Manager

Job PurposeTo drive sales growth and market share for the company’s diagnostics product portfolio (including instruments, reagents, and consumables) within the assigned territory. The TSM will manage key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective service and technical support coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for diagnostic products.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in pathology labs, hospitals, and diagnostic centers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to key decision-makers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to strategize accordingly.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pathologists, lab managers, biomedical engineers, and purchase teams.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues through coordination with service and technical teams.
  • Collect customer feedback for continuous improvement and new product introduction.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Maintain updated records of sales pipelines, leads, and customer data in CRM.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis.
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and CME programs for brand visibility.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with service engineers for installation and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional activities and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) development.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
  • Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or B.Pharm / MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 2–6 years of sales experience in the Diagnostics / IVD / Medical Device industry.
  • Product Knowledge: Clinical chemistry, hematology, immunoassay, molecular diagnostics, or related platforms.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
