Store Supervisor

Job Title: Store Supervisor(Added Advantage : Experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry with 6-2 Years of experience).

Job Summary:

The Store Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising store and warehouse activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The role ensures proper receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, finished goods, and consumables in compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Material Management:

• Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of API, excipients, packaging materials, and consumables.
• Maintain stock levels as per approved inventory norms.
• Implement FIFO / FEFO practices for all materials.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.

2. Documentation & Records:

• Maintain accurate documentation including.
• Material inward and outward registers.
• Stock ledgers and bin cards.
• ERP entries and batch-wise traceability.
• Ensure timely and error-free documentation as per SOPs.

3.GMP & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure storage conditions meet GMP requirements (temperature, humidity, segregation).
• Maintain proper labeling, status identification (Quarantine, Approved, Rejected).
• Ensure compliance with GDP, ISO, WHO-GMP, and regulatory audits.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory inspections.

4. Store Operations:

• Supervise material receipt, unloading, storage, and dispatch.
• Verify materials against Purchase Orders, delivery challans, and COA.
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to production as per requisitions.
• Handle return, rejected, and expired materials as per SOP.

5. Team Supervision:

• Supervise store assistants, helpers, and contract staff
• Allocate work shifts and monitor daily activities
• Train staff on SOPs, GMP practices, and safety procedures

6. Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with Procurement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, and Accounts
• Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, and damages promptly
• Support planning for production schedules and material availability

7. Safety & Housekeeping:

• Ensure proper material handling and storage safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of store areas.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and safe handling of chemicals.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Logistics preferred.
2. 6 Months –2 years of experience in pharmaceutical store or warehouse operations.
3. Added Advantage : Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory documentation.
4. Added Advantage : Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / other pharma ERP).
