AC Technician

Job Title:

Service Technician – HVAC (Ductable, Package AC & VRF Systems)

Location:

Delhi NCR

Experience:

4–7 years (Hands-on field experience preferred)

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Mechanical

Relevant HVAC certifications will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of:

Ductable Air Conditioning systems

Package AC units

VRF / VRV systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults.

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance as per schedule.

Handle refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection.

Read and understand HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and customers.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.

Maintain service reports, job cards, and material usage records.

Support emergency breakdown calls when required.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Strong understanding of refrigeration cycle and HVAC fundamentals

Experience with VRF controllers, indoor & outdoor units

Knowledge of compressors, expansion valves, sensors, PCB boards

Basic electrical troubleshooting (single & three phase systems)

Familiarity with refrigerants: R410A, R32, R134a (as applicable)

Ability to use HVAC tools: gauges, vacuum pump, multimeter, clamp meter

Good communication skills and customer-handling ability
