Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Technical Writer located in London. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and refining technical documentation, including user manuals and guides. Daily tasks include collaborating with technical teams, ensuring accuracy in technical communication, and maintaining consistent documentation standards. This role requires a keen ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Post Graduate in any field(Technical/Non-Technical/Medical).
• Good knowledge of sales, preferably in the education or consulting sector.
• Excellent command of the English language with a strong understanding of academic writing styles and standards. Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, readable, and engaging content. Familiarity with tools like SPSS, MATLAB, Excel, or other data analysis software is a plus.
• Strong research skills, including the ability to extract and synthesize information from scholarly journals, research papers, and technical publications.
• Familiarity with citation styles (e.g., IEEE, APA, MLA) and scholarly content formatting is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of researchers, writers, and clients to deliver high-quality content on time.
• Strong commitment to producing original content and ensuring that all references and citations are accurately attributed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write clear, structured, and well-researched technical content, including research papers, project reports, conference papers, thesis proposals, dissertations, literature reviews, and technical articles.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research on complex technical subjects to produce high-quality, data-driven content. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of the content to meet client specifications.
• Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients (students, researchers, and academic professionals) to understand their project requirements and deliver content that meets their academic goals and research objectives.
• Editing & Proofreading: Review and refine your own work and others’ content for grammar, clarity, coherence, and logical flow. Ensure proper formatting, citation, and referencing in line with academic standards (e.g., IEEE, APA, MLA).
• Data Handling: Assist clients with data-related tasks, such as analyzing and organizing data (SPSS, Excel, MATLAB, etc.) and ensuring proper integration into content.
• Plagiarism & Authenticity: Ensure all written content is plagiarism-free, original, and properly referenced. Use plagiarism-checking tools to ensure the content's authenticity.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, methodologies, and technologies in technical writing and academic research to ensure that content is cutting-edge and aligned with current standards.
