Account Executive (Accounting)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial data entry, and reconciliation across multiple sales channels. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally and e-commerce accounting, with strong skills in Excel and familiarity with modern AI tools to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Record all purchases, expenses, and payments accurately in Tally.
2. Enter and maintain sales data from multiple e-commerce platforms and offline channels.
3. Perform payment reconciliation across marketplaces and reconcile data at the order level.
4. Prepare GST and TDS data for filings and compliance.
5. Maintain and track all accounts payables and receivables.
6. Ensure bank reconciliation and timely posting of all inflow/outflow transactions.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accounting accuracy and timely reporting.
8. Use Excel and AI tools to improve efficiency in data handling and reporting.
9. Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and financial reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting (preferably in an e-commerce or FMCG setup).
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting reconciliation.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and marketplace commission structures.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple platforms and high-volume data.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.
• Exposure to AI tools or automation tools for data entry and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
