Account Executive (Accounting)

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain books of accounts including cash, bank, sales, and purchase ledgers
• Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations
• Handle GST compliance: return filing, reconciliation, and records
• Manage TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank reconciliation and vendor/customer reconciliation
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (freshers may apply for junior role)
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax basics
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, etc.)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Preferred QualificationsM.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (added advantage)

Experience in construction, transport, or trading industry (if applicable)
