Account Executive (Accounting)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our Finance team in the fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the month-end closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, etc.)

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

Support in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions

Assist in processing payroll and employee reimbursements

Prepare supporting documentation for audits

Help in inventory reconciliation and stock accounting

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for financial clarifications

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Perform other duties as assigned by the senior accountant or finance manager

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com preferred)

1–2 years of experience in an accounting role (experience in retail industry is a plus)

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

Familiarity with Tally ERP / SAP / any accounting software

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and organizational skills
