Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare bank reconciliation statements.

Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.

Ensure timely filing of statutory returns.

Monitor expenses and support budget preparation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com preferred).

Proven experience as an Accountant or Accounts Executive.

Good knowledge of accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.).

Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax basics.

Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Good communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in manufacturing or service industry accounting.

Knowledge of payroll processing.

Experience in audits and compliance management.
