Accountant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support basic business operations in a wholesale trading environment.

Should be proficient in accounting softwares - BUSY and Tally

KEY SKILLS:

1. Attention to detail and accuracy

2. Trustworthy and dependable

3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced market setting

4. Good communication and coordination skills - including with staff, labour

5. Should be with working extra hours during peak season (compensation can be discussed for the same)

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain daily books of accounts (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)

2. Handle bank entries, and reconciliations

3. Manage accounts payable and Receivable

4. Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and vouchers

5. Maintain ledgers and ensure accurate record-keeping

6. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

7. Coordinate with CA for audits and assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts

8. Track stock movement and maintain inventory Records

9. Coordinate with warehouse/store for stock Reconciliation and order processing, billing, and dispatch
