Job Title: Accountant

Experience: 2–3 Years Industry: Footwear / Manufacturing / Retail Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of proven accounting experience. Candidates with prior experience in the footwear or manufacturing industry will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Accounting: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Journal entries, Ledgers, Cash Book, and Bank Book).
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage payments to vendors/suppliers and track incoming payments from customers/dealers.
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock records (Raw material & Finished goods) and reconcile physical stock with book stock—crucial for shoe sizes/SKUs.
• Banking: Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Tax Compliance: Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS calculations/filings.
• Invoicing: Generate sales invoices and E-way bills as required.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
• Petty Cash: Manage office petty cash and expense tracking.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. M.Com is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Industry Preference: Experience in the Footwear/Shoe business is highly preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP 9 and BUSY is mandatory.
• Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, good understanding of GST/Taxation laws, and ability to work independently
