Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally (Tally Prime / ERP 9)
• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure proper classification of expenses and income
• Manage journal entries, contra entries, and bank entries

2. Compliance & Statutory Filings

- Handle GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)

- Manage TDS calculations, filings, and returns

- Ensure adherence to statutory timelines and compliance requirements

- Coordinate with external CA/auditors during audits

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Track vendor invoices and ensure timely payments

- Manage customer invoicing and collections follow-ups

- Perform periodic reconciliation of payables and receivables

4. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations (BRS)

- Identify discrepancies and resolve them proactively

- Ensure alignment between bank statements and books

5. Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries

- Assist in preparation of:

- Profit & Loss Statement

- Balance Sheet

- Cash Flow Statements

- Provide insights on expenses and cost control

6. Documentation & Audit Support

- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

- Support internal and external audits with required data and reports

- Ensure data integrity and audit readiness at all times
