Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally ERP / Tally Prime.

Prepare and manage books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.

Handle GST compliance: GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation), e-invoicing, and e-way bills

Manage Income Tax work: computation of taxable income, TDS calculation, filing of TDS & Income Tax returns

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and TDS

Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel

Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills

Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and monitor cash & bank transactions

Maintain accounts payable & receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections

Use Advanced Excel for MIS reports, data analysis, reconciliation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dashboards

Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements

Maintain proper documentation and records as per statutory requirements

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments when required
