Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, billing, settlements, and compliance across our logistics operations. This role works closely with operations and vendors to ensure accurate records, timely payments, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & FinanceMaintain books of accounts, ledgers, and daily entries
• Handle client invoicing and transporter billing
• Track receivables, payables, and ageing
• Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
• Logistics & Vendor SettlementsProcess transporter and vendor payments
• Verify freight bills, detention claims, and supporting documents
• Coordinate with operations for dispute resolution
• Track advances, deductions, and final settlements
• Compliance & ReportingHandle GST filings, reconciliation, and compliance
• Maintain proper documentation for audits
• Prepare monthly MIS reports on revenue, costs, and margins
• Coordination & ControlsWork closely with ops teams to ensure billing accuracy
• Flag anomalies, delays, or compliance risks early
• Support internal and external audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting
• 2–5 years experience in accounts (logistics experience is a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of GST and Indian accounting practices
• Comfortable with Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
