Job Description
🧩 Role Overview
We are looking for an Admission Process Associate with strong knowledge of Indian admissions systems and the ability to guide students and parents on admission pathways. This role involves end-to-end application execution along with basic admission counselling for UG & PG programs in India.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔹 A. Indian Admission Processes (Core Role)
Handle end-to-end admissions for:
- IP University (GGSIPU)
- CUET (UG/PG) & CSAS – Delhi University
- JAC Counselling (Delhi & other states)
- JoSAA / CSAB
- NEET Counselling
- State Counselling
- Deemed / Private Universities
Key tasks include:
- Application form filling & registration
- Choice filling & preference strategy (with senior counsellor guidance)
- Counselling round tracking & upgrades
- Cut-off analysis and seat allocation monitoring
- Document verification & eligibility checks
- Fee payment & admission confirmation support
🔹 B. Admission Counselling (Support-Level)
- Guide students & parents on:
- Course & college options based on rank/score
- Counselling process flow and timelines
- Explain:
- Counselling rounds, freezes, float options
- Upgrade rules & withdrawal policies
- Handle first-level counselling calls and walk-ins
- Escalate complex cases to Senior Counsellors
- Maintain counselling notes in CRM
🔹 C. Process, Coordination & Reporting
- Maintain student data on CRM / trackers
- Track deadlines, cut-offs, and round-wise outcomes
- Coordinate with:
- Senior Counsellors
- Students & parents
- University helpdesks
- Share daily & weekly admission status reports
- Ensure zero deadline misses and process errors
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
🎓 Education
- Graduate / Postgraduate (Any stream)
🧠 Experience & Knowledge
- 1–4 years of experience in Indian admissions / counselling preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- IPU, CUET, CSAS, JAC, JoSAA, NEET counselling
- Strong understanding of:
- Cut-offs, ranks, quotas, counselling rules
- Eligibility & documentation norms
🛠 Skills
- Strong communication skills (Hindi + English)
- Process-oriented & detail-focused
- Confident in parent/student counselling
- Comfortable with:
- Google Sheets / Excel
- CRM systems
- Online counselling portals
- Ability to handle peak admission pressure
