Arduino Engineer – Interactive Art & Installations


Role Overview:

We are hiring a hands-on Arduino Engineer to build electronics and motion systems for interactive and kinetic artworks. This role requires strong Arduino programming, wiring, and soldering experience. This is a practical role involving real hardware assembly, not just software.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Arduino boards using Arduino IDE (C/C++)
  • Wire Arduino with motors, drivers, sensors, relays, LEDs, and power supplies
  • Build and assemble electronic systems for motion-based and interactive artworks
  • Solder wires, connectors, headers, and components reliably
  • Work with stepper motors, servo motors, and motor drivers (such as DM860H, A4988, etc.)
  • Read and implement circuit diagrams and wiring layouts
  • Troubleshoot and fix wiring, soldering, and hardware issues
  • Test, install, and maintain artwork electronics
  • Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)Strong Arduino programming experience (Arduino IDE, C/C++)
  • Proven wiring experience with Arduino, motors, sensors, and power supplies
  • Soldering experience (clean, reliable solder joints)
  • Experience with stepper motors, servo motors, and motor drivers
  • Understanding of voltage, current, grounding, and safe wiring practices
  • Ability to independently build and troubleshoot systems
  • Preferred (Bonus)Experience with ESP32 or ESP8266
  • Experience with LED systems (NeoPixel, WS2812B, etc.)
  • Experience with kinetic art, installations, or automation systems
  • Basic electronics troubleshooting using multimeter
  • Ideal CandidateStrong hands-on hardware builder
  • Comfortable with wiring, soldering, and assembling electronics
  • Can independently build working Arduino systems
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
