Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role Overview

The AI Engineer is responsible for developing, programming, and training the complex networks of algorithms that make up AI. They take theoretical models and turn them into functional production-ready software, ensuring that AI systems are efficient, secure, and integrated into the company’s broader ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Choosing the right architectures (Transformers, CNNs, etc.) for specific business problems.
• Building and maintaining robust APIs to connect AI models with front-end or back-end systems.
• Optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) through techniques like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation).
• Setting up and managing scalable GPU/TPU environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Tracking model "drift" (accuracy decay over time) and ensuring the system remains performant under high user loads.

4. Evaluation: Using "LLM-as-a-judge" or human-in-the-loop systems to ensure safety and quality.
