Assistant Account Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries for sales, purchases, and expenses
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely payment follow-ups
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and maintain vendor/customer ledgers
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly reconciliation reports
• Maintain accurate records of freight, customs, and shipping-related costs
• Preparing financial statements, profit & loss reports, and MIS reports
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments for payment and documentation queries
• Assist in GST filing, TDS computation, and other statutory compliances
• Verify supporting documents for transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Coordinate with auditors and help prepare data for audit purposes
• Monitor outstanding payments and send timely reminders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounts or finance (preferably in logistics or export sector)
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel and other accounting tools
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and other statutory requirements
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
