Assistant Sales Manager

Job Title: The Sales & Operations role bridges revenue generation and operational execution. The position ensures that sales goals are met efficiently while internal processes, resources, and delivery commitments are aligned. This role works closely with sales, finance, operations, and leadership to drive growth, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day execution.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSales ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth by managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.
• Coordinate with sales teams to track opportunities, forecasts, and targets.
• Prepare and present sales reports, MIS, and performance dashboards.
• Support pricing, proposals, contracts, and PO follow‑ups with customers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and handle commercial escalations.
• Operations ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate operational activities to support sales commitments.
• Ensure timely order processing, invoicing, and payment follow‑ups.
• Align delivery schedules, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
• Work with finance for billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Track SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.
• Cross‑Functional & Process ManagementAct as a single point of coordination between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Support teams.
• Improve and document sales and operations processes (SOPs).
• Support audits, compliance, and internal governance requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Support management with data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
