Barista

Job seeker will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for coffee and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure a friendly and efficient service experience.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the counterband service area.
• Restock inventory (coffee beans, milk, syrups, disposables, etc.) and report shortages to management.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Follow all café SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for beverage preparation, hygiene, and customer service.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and setting up the station.
• Upsell café products, food items, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure a positive and energetic café environment for guests and team members.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a café/restaurant is required (training can be provided).
• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and café equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and shifts.
• Attention to detail, punctuality.
