Job Description

Position: BDE (Business Development Executives) or FOS

Location: Multiple Cities

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for onboarding the merchants on WhatsApp Business account in the open market. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular visits to merchants in the open market to pitch our WhatsApp Business App and educate them on its features and benefits.

  • Guide merchants through the onboarding process, assisting them with account setup and profile creation.

  • Help merchants upload and manage their product catalogues on the WhatsApp Business App, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Present advertising opportunities to merchants, highlighting the value of promoting their products or services through WhatsApp business App.

  • Proactively engage with merchants to renew their subscriptions and maintain long-term relationships, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.

  • Utilise your own vehicle for daily travel to visit merchants and navigate the assigned sales territory efficiently.

  • Maintain an active presence on social media platforms to engage with potential and existing clients, share relevant content, and build relationships.

  • Onboarding merchants on Meta Verified (paid subscription service of Meta)

  • Cross-sell other relevant products to the merchants, as per company’s requirement. 


Key requirements:


  • 1 year plus of experience in field sales.

  • Any graduate with a strong academic background.

  • Must have hands-on experience on various social platforms like Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram.

  • Possession of a bike and a valid driver's licence for daily travel within the assigned sales territory.

  • Must have an Android phone

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with merchants and build rapport.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade potential clients.

  • Smart and presentable with a professional demeanour.

  • Willingness to undergo product training and stay updated on industry trends and developments.

  • Work 6 days in a week.
