Client Relationship Manager & Business Development Manager – Events & Productions

Base Location: New Delhi (On-ground events pan-India)
Industry: Event Management | Brand Activations | Experiential Marketing | Corporate & Lifestyle Events | Event Fabrication
Work Mode: On-Site + Extensive Travel (Across India for events & client meetings)
Working Days: 6 days/week
Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Flexibility required for on-ground event hours, client presentations, weekend events, and set-ups)

Role Summary:
As the Client Relationship & Business Development Manager, you will:
- Build new business opportunities across corporate clients, brands, and agencies
- Manage and grow relationships with partners, sponsors, collaborators, and vendors
- Coordinate with internal design, production, and creative teams for event execution
- Represent the company at meetings, festivals, trade expos, and industry networking nights
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Brand Relationship Management
- Handle end-to-end communication with clients from pitch to execution
- Deliver a premium client experience through project updates, seamless execution, and post-event follow-ups
- Manage sponsor relationships and ROI-driven deliverables
Business Development & Outreach
- Identify new revenue opportunities in the events & activations space
- Convert brand briefs into proposals with ideas, visual references, and costing
- Collaborate with agencies, brand managers, tourism boards, cultural partners, and government bodies
Creative & Proposal Development
- Work on customized event concepts, experiences, and proposals based on client briefs
- Coordinate with internal teams for decks, budgets, and timelines
- Lead presentations and business pitches with confidence and clarity
Networking & Industry Presence
- Attend launch events, cultural programs, exhibitions, and industry mixers
- Build a personal network with RJs, influencers, brand heads, and cultural partners
- Represent the company at government events, tourism boards, and embassies when required
Marketing & Digital Communication
- Liaise with the internal design and marketing team to convert events into digital stories
- Support content ideation and brand storytelling for social platforms
- Create case studies post-event for business growth and outreach
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Presentable, articulate, and passionate about the events and experience industry
- Excellent command of English with strong communication and email drafting skills
- Ability to ideate unique event concepts and understand execution challenges
- Comfort with extensive travel, odd-hour work schedules, and weekend gigs
- Previous experience working with event agencies, brands, media houses, or marketing agencies preferred
- Basic understanding of design aesthetics, layouts, and production elements is a plus
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or Event Management
- 2–6 years of work experience in client-facing, business development, or event marketing roles
- Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and email drafting tools
- Familiarity with presentation tools, social media communication, and design software (basic)
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
- Conversion of new event opportunities
- Client satisfaction and repeat business ratio
- Brand and sponsor acquisition
- On-ground execution quality and client feedback
- Personal and brand social media engagement (preferred)
