Role OverviewTeachwell Institute is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive partnerships, generate student leads, and expand our network across schools, coaching institutes, and career counselors.
The role requires strong field execution, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to generating business through collaborations and events.
- Key ObjectivesGenerate new referral partnerships
- Increase student lead inflow
- Expand Teachwell’s presence in schools & institutes
- Drive career workshops, fairs, and events
- Target Segments (Focus Areas)Coaching Institutes
- Career Counselors
- Vocational Institutes
- Home Tutors
- School Teachers & Counselors
- School Principals & Administration (for workshops)
- Career Fairs & External Events
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Execution (Field + Calling)📞 Cold Calling & Follow-ups
- Minimum 20 fresh calls/day (Google Maps, LinkedIn, Justdial, etc.)
- Minimum 10 follow-up calls/day (existing leads, pending MOUs)
📧 WhatsApp & Email Outreach
- Send 10 personalized WhatsApp messages daily with brochures/intro kits
- Share white-labeled creatives with active partners
🤝 Meetings & Visits
- Conduct minimum 2 meetings/visits per day
- Pitch Teachwell’s referral & commission model
- Build strong relationships with institutes & schools
🗂 Data Management (CRM)
- Maintain daily updated database on Google Drive (Excel CRM)
- Track: Name, Contact Details, Category (School/Coaching/Tutor), Status
📝 Daily Reporting
Submit an end-of-day report including:
- Calls made (Fresh + Follow-ups)
- Meetings conducted (Institute names)
- MOUs pitched/signed
- Leads generated
- Challenges / Support required
2. Weekly Responsibilities (Saturday Review)📊 Lead Source Analysis
- Review outreach across:
- Coaching Institutes
- Schools
- Tutors
- Track responses and conversions
📝 Partner Engagement
- Identify:
- Active partners generating leads
- Inactive partners for reactivation
📢 Workshop & Event Pipeline
- Track:
- Schools approached
- Workshops scheduled (next 2 weeks)
🧾 MOU Tracking
- Total MOUs signed
- Pending MOUs with reasons
📣 Career Fair Participation
- Leads generated
- Networking outcomes
🧩 Challenges & Support
- Highlight bottlenecks (e.g., creatives, pitch support, language requirements)
📅 Weekly Planning
- Submit a day-wise execution plan for next week
3. Monthly Responsibilities📈 Performance Reporting
- Total outreach:
- Calls, visits, WhatsApp campaigns
- Growth in WhatsApp communities
- MOUs signed (Referral vs Channel Partners)
- Workshops conducted (No. of schools & student reach)
- Career fairs attended (Leads & conversions)
- Revenue contribution:
- Admissions
- Leads generated via partners
