Job Description
Job Title: Cafe Staff / StewardJob Summary: We are looking for an energetic and customer-oriented Cafe Staff/Steward to join our team. You will be the face of our cafe, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience through excellent service and a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve them promptly.
- Menu Knowledge: Assist guests in selecting items by explaining the menu, specials, and ingredients (especially for coffee/beverages).
- Maintenance: Ensure the dining area, counters, and tables are clean, sanitized, and well-presented at all times.
- Billing: Handle POS/cash counter operations and process payments efficiently.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time.
- Compliance: Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols strictly.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: 12th Pass or Graduate (as per your preference).
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year in the F&B/Hospitality industry preferred (Freshers with good communication are also welcome).
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge for billing, active listening, and a "can-do" attitude.
- Language: Basic English and fluency in the local regional language.
