Job Description

Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused CASA Sales Officer to drive the acquisition of new customers and increase the bank's portfolio of Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) holders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through field visits, customer relationship management, and effective lead generation.

  • Key Responsibilities:Acquire new customers for Current and Savings Accounts through direct sales.
  • Meet assigned sales targets for CASA products on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct field visits, cold calls, and organize promotional activities to generate leads.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers clearly.
  • Assist customers in the account opening process and ensure all KYC documentation is collected accurately.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to cross-sell additional bank products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the manager.
  • Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance).
  • 0–1 years of experience in direct sales or banking; freshers may be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services.
  • Proficiency in local language and English.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Number of new CASA accounts opened.
  • Value of deposits mobilized.
  • Lead conversion rate.
  • Customer retention rate.
  • Compliance and documentation accuracy.

Career Path:Successful CASA Sales Officers can progress to roles such as Relationship Manager, Team Leader – CASA, or move into Retail Banking Operations or Wealth Management roles over time.
