Cloud Infrastructure & Security Specialist

What You’ll Do

As a Cloud Infrastructure & Security Specialist, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our cloud services and strengthening our security posture. You’ll work cross-functionally to improve infrastructure efficiency and integrity while managing key areas like compliance, disaster recovery, and cloud security. You will:

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize ThrivePass’ cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure maximum availability and disaster readiness across all cloud environments.
• Partner with development and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and communicate priorities with clarity.

Azure & Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Configure and manage Azure cloud services, including App Services, Databases, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, and VPNs.
• Manage Azure B2C environment and Azure DevOps for performance and optimization.
• Configure and manage Web Application Firewall and Front Door services for enhanced security.
• Automate and optimize cloud services and workflows.
• Set up and maintain secure remote workstation systems.

Security & Compliance

• Configure cloud services with a security-first approach, minimizing attack surface areas.
• Manage Azure Defender and maintain a strong security score across all services.
• Set up and monitor Azure Sentinel/SIEM tools for real-time security insights.
• Ensure compliance with required security frameworks, conduct gap analyses, and implement corrective action plans.
• Configure and manage backups in accordance with ThrivePass’ policies.
• Manage infrastructure alerts and ensure proper escalation for outages and performance issues.
• Lead or support disaster recovery planning and activities.

Must Have

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role with relevant responsibilities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Cloud certifications are a plus
• Fluent in spoken English and able to communicate regularly with U.S.-based teams
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
