Collection Executive / Officer

Job Title: Collection Executive

Job Summary:

The Collection Executive is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding payments from customers, ensuring timely collections while maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Key Responsibilities: Contact customers via phone, email, or visits to collect overdue payments
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status
• Resolve billing issues and disputes professionally
• Achieve monthly/quarterly collection targets
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and legal teams when required
• Prepare daily/weekly collection reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines
• Requirements & Skills: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
• Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or recovery (0–3 years, or as required)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
• Basic knowledge of accounting and MS Excel
• Customer-focused with problem-solving attitude
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in field collections or tele-collections
• Knowledge of local market and customers
• Two-wheeler and driving license
