Job Summary:

In Payment Collection Profile (Collection Specialist/Agent) will be focusing on recovering outstanding payments by contacting clients via phone or email, negotiating payment plans, and reconciling accounts to meet financial targets. Key duties include monitoring aging reports, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to compliance laws. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Customer Outreach: Contact clients regarding overdue payments through emails, calls, and letters to secure payments.
• Negotiation: Develop, negotiate, and implement repayment plans or settlements for outstanding balances.
• Records Management: Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of all collection activities, communications, and payments.
• Reconciliation & Investigation: Investigate historical data, resolve billing discrepancies, and process payments/refunds.
• Reporting: Prepare and present collection reports on aging accounts receivable status to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in debt collection, customer service, or accounts receivable, Payment Collection, Recovery.
• Communication: Strong, assertive, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Negotiation: Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and familiarity with CRM/accounting software.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, patience, ability to manage stress, and high attention to detail.
• Education: High school diploma; a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is often preferred.
