Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commi 1 to join our kitchen team at our new vegetarian restaurant in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vegetarian cuisine and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment. As a Commi 1, you will support the kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assist In in cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the Head Chef.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
• Ensure proper portion control and food presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
• Participate in kitchen team meetings and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Fresher’s or experienced candidates who have completed hotel
• Basic knowledge of vegetarian cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Culinary certification or equivalent training.
• Experience in a vegetarian or vegan kitchen.
• Creativity and willingness to contribute to menu development.
