Role SummaryThe Commis III supports daily kitchen operations in a quick service restaurant by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth execution during service. This is an entry-level kitchen role focused on speed, consistency, and adherence to SOPs.

Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Service

• Assist in basic food prep such as chopping, portioning, boiling, and assembling items as per SOPs
• Support live service by plating and assembling orders quickly and accurately
• Follow standardized recipes to maintain consistency and quality
• Assist in prep for sauces, pasta, bases, toppings, and garnishes (as applicable)

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment at all times
• Follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene standards strictly
• Practice proper food handling, storage, and labelling
• Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards

Kitchen Operations

• Assist in opening and closing duties of the kitchen
• Help with stock rotation (FIFO) and basic inventory handling
• Report shortages, wastage, or quality issues to seniors
• Support seniors during peak hours and rush periods

Teamwork & Discipline

• Follow instructions from Commis II, CDP, and kitchen supervisors
• Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced team
• Be punctual, disciplined, and willing to learn
• Maintain a positive attitude during high-pressure service
• Skill & Qualification RequirementsBasic knowledge of kitchen operations (QSR or restaurant experience preferred)
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety basics
• Ability to work on feet for long hours
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary training is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience0–1 year experience in a QSR, cloud kitchen, or restaurant kitchen
• Freshers with culinary interest may be considered
