Demand Manager - Hotel Sales

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales:

• Identify and target prospective clients, including corporations, travel agencies, event planners, and tour operators.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize hotel revenue across rooms, events, and other services.

• Negotiate room rates, packages, and contracts with clients.

• Conduct cold calls, site visits, and presentations to promote the hotel's services.

2. Account Management:

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.

• Regularly update and manage client databases, including corporate, leisure, and event-based accounts.

3. Event & Group Bookings:

• Promote and sell hotel venues for conferences, weddings, and other events.

• Collaborate with the banquet and event teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.

• Prepare detailed proposals and contracts for group bookings and manage group room blocks.

4. Revenue & Reporting:

• Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.

• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, including revenue, room nights, and event bookings.

• Provide weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head/ Senior Management

Key Qualifications:

1. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a related field (Experience working with corporate and group sales is highly desirable)

2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.

3. Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

4. Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including room inventory, pricing, revenue management, and event planning.
