Job Description :-

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems efficiently, both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support to users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, and standard applications.
• Handle IT support tickets, resolve issues within defined SLAs, and escalate when required.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi, basic TCP/IP, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, antivirus updates, and data backups.
• Manage IT assets, maintain inventory records, and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair, AMC, and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Support onboarding/offboarding activities (system setup, access, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications :-

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
• Experience with ticketing tools and remote support tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
